Job Description This position is responsible for all maintenance
work at the facility. The role involves installing, repairing,
wiring, and maintaining a variety of machines, fixtures, building
equipment, process controls, circuits, and alarms. This is a
smaller facility where it will be you and one other technician.
This is a hands on manager role. This position REQUIRES punch press
experience. Responsibilities Perform or coordinate all in-house
machine maintenance including preventative, mechanical, hydraulic,
electrical, and pneumatic tasks. Maintain an inventory of in-house
replacement parts for building, machines, and equipment; order
replacement parts as needed. Write work orders, schedule, and
oversee work of outside contractors as needed. Coordinate,
schedule, and perform all interior building maintenance including
painting, floor care, electrical systems, and lavatory systems.
Resolve day-to-day issues by working effectively with others.
Perform all preventative building, equipment, and machine
maintenance as required. Conduct minor repairs to drywall, roof
leaks, plumbing systems, and electrical systems. Schedule and
perform or coordinate all periodical building, equipment, and
machine maintenance. Accurately diagnose building, equipment, and
machine problems. Monitor filters on HVAC systems and replace them
when necessary. Deliver and retrieve supplies, components, and
parts to and from local area customers and suppliers. Schedule
annual fire extinguisher checks. Check for potential problems and
report to the supervisor. Complete all paperwork and documentation
associated with the process accurately and efficiently. Check and
clean areas around machines as necessary, including repairing minor
issues while focusing on safety and lean initiatives. Maintain an
organized, clean, and safe work area. Participate in activities to
increase personal skill level, departmental processes, and product
quality. Communicate all problems and work-related issues with the
supervisor. Maintain or exceed ratings on performance evaluations.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including mission,
safety, and attendance requirements. Perform other duties as
required to meet company needs as assigned by supervisory staff.

metal stamping company. The facility includes 32 punch presses up
to 400 tons, fabrication with press brakes, welding, turret,
assemblies, machining with CNC, tapping, drill presses, and mills.
Quality assurance is certified with ISO 9001:2008. The facility is
44,000 square feet and includes an in-house tool room for building
and maintaining dies. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to
Hire position based out of Schiller Park, IL. Pay and Benefits The
pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility
requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to
