qualified PICU RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792! Pay Information
$2,516 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric ICU Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Pediatric ICU
experience is required. Solid experience in Pediatric ICU, and some
cardiovascular ICU or cardiac step-down or general cardiac
experience is required. Inpatient registered nurse travelers must
have completed two years of acute care experience within the last
three years in the specialty they are applying for. License:
Registered Nurse license is required. Certifications: Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification is required. Pediatric Advanced Life
Support (PALS) certification is required. Must-Have: Baccalaureate
degree in nursing is preferred. Telemetry experience with Basic
Arrhythmia knowledge is required. Traveler will be required to pass
a Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. Description:
Evening and night 12-hour shifts available from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Monday through Friday with every other weekend required. Join a
highly skilled multidisciplinary team providing family-centered
care to critically ill or injured children and their families.
Provide comprehensive care for patients admitted with a wide
variety of medical and surgical problems. Common issues include
acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary
diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi-system
organ failure, and ECMO. Travelers may have shifts scheduled in
multiple units based on current staffing needs. During the
assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will
be reassigned to another unit to complete the contract. Flexibility
is essential as travelers may be required to float between
different units depending on staffing requirements. All applicants
must meet the specified experience and certification requirements.
