2 years of recent acute care experience in Emergency Room License:
Valid and active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
(preferred) Must-Have: Mandatory floating within scope to meet
facility needs Description: Position is for an RN in the Emergency
Room. Shift is 3x12s, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. There is no block
scheduling. Weekend requirement is every other weekend, totaling 2
weekends per month. The request for time off is a maximum of 5
days, with no more than 2 consecutive days. No time off is allowed
on holidays, the day before holidays, or weekends. All resources
are required to float as needed, and notification may occur 2 hours
before a shift. If floating outside of primary competency, a
team-based model will be used. No home units are assigned.
Candidates are required to complete specific vaccinations prior to
the start date. Local candidates are preferred, living within a
specified distance. Returning resources must undergo full
recredentialing. Compliance deadlines are set for the week before
orientation. Candidates must respond promptly for all required
items. Lab work must be completed within a designated timeframe.
Additional modules may be required before starting the assignment.
