working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in
Madison, Wisconsin, 53792! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night and Mid shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience with adult
and pediatric populations within the last 3 years. License: Must
have a valid nursing license or compact license from the permanent
address state. Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC must be
certified through the American Heart Association. Must-Have: - Epic
experience required within the last 12 months. - Basic Arrhythmia
experience required. - Ability to pass a Telemetry test prior to
clearance to start. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse
to work in the Emergency Department. The Emergency Department
offers comprehensive services with access to a full team of
subspecialists for urgent and emergent cases. Over 60,000 patients
per year are treated in this facility. The department includes
specialized care such as cardiac catheterization, Level I trauma
care, acute stroke care, and consultation for burn patients. Staff
coordinate care with ground ambulances and air medical transport
for severely ill and injured patients. The department also performs
diagnostic interventions and offers immediate consultations.
Experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center or a similar
hospital size is required. Travelers will be expected to float
depending on current staffing needs. Shifts may be scheduled in
multiple units, and rotation during weekends and holidays is
necessary. Travelers should have prior travel experience. The role
requires managing a diverse patient population with high acuity
needs. Key competencies include the administration of emergency
medications, central line care, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
The candidate must be capable of triaging patients and responding
to various emergency situations. All emergency skills, such as
intubation and managing ventilated patients, are essential for this
