Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist role
based in Waukegan, IL, serving primarily elementary school
students. The position offers a flexible schedule built around
school hours, allowing professionals to effectively balance work
and personal time. New graduates completing their Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply, as supervision is
provided to support professional growth. Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 35-40
elementary students Manage a caseload at 1-2 school sites with a
designated home base Develop individualized treatment plans
tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and
staff to support student progress Participate in an orientation
prior to beginning the assignment Qualifications: Valid Speech
Language Pathology license or certification (CCC or CFY accepted)
Experience or interest in school-based therapy settings Strong
communication and organizational skills Ability to work
independently within a flexible schedule aligned with school hours
Location & Employment Details: Position is located in Waukegan, IL
Full-time (37.5 hours per week) during the annual school year
Employment type: W-2 employee; annual school year contract Start
