In this role, you will work alongside top medical professionals and contribute to surgeries by ensuring that all operations are carried out smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your expertise in handling surgical equipment, aiding surgeons during procedures, and maintaining sterile environments will directly impact patient care and recovery. Prepare operating rooms for surgery including setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions. Assemble, adjust and check nonsterile equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition. Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations by passing instruments and other sterile supplies. Help in applying dressings and preparing patients for surgery, transportation, and aftercare. Maintain a clean and safe operating room and adhere to all infection control protocols. Participate in counting sponges, needles, and instruments before and after the procedure. Proficiency in handling surgical instruments and supplies. Strong understanding of sterilization and disinfection techniques. Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse surgical teams. Physical stamina and manual dexterity. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
