working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Madison,
Wisconsin, 53792! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of
total Level III/IV NICU experience, with at least 1 year in Level
IV NICU License: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license
Certifications: BLS (certified through American Heart Association
only), NRP, Telemetry competency Must-Have: Experience with post-op
patients, g-tubes, trach/vent management, and various modes of
ventilation Description: Provide care for critically ill newborns
and infants. Engage with families across the continuum of care,
from admission to discharge. Work within a 26-bed NICU that
emphasizes patient and family-centered care. Administer care for
infants requiring advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Operate in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary
support including physical therapy and respiratory services.
Deliver care to high-acuity neonates with complex medical and
surgical needs. Ensure compliance with protocols and documentation
using Epic charting system. Be available to float to other units as
needed, attending to patients under 12 months of age. Maintain a
flexible schedule to accommodate weekend shifts, as required.
Possess skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and monitoring,
invasive hemodynamic monitoring, and management of various infant
care procedures. Facilitate patient and family teaching related to
care and recovery. Follow isolation precautions and handle
sensitive procedures with high standards of safety and
