a qualified Rehab RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53718! Job Title:

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other
24/7 skilled care environment License: RN License Certifications:
BLS Must-Have: Must have a minimum of 13 weeks of Epic experience.
Experience in Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation is required.
Description: This position is for an RN in a rehabilitation
setting. The facility offers specialized programs for patients with
stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic
injuries. The goal is to help patients achieve their highest level
of recovery and return home as soon as possible. The focus is on
maximizing health, function, and quality of life through
comprehensive rehabilitation programs. The unit can experience high
acuity and functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit. All
nurses are expected to assist nursing assistants and respond to
call lights for patient safety. Attendance per internal policies is
mandatory. Scheduled breaks are provided, with mandatory clock-out
for a 30-minute break each shift. Staff should not exceed their
shift end time without prior approval. Patient ratios stand at 1:7.
Nurses will use mobility equipment and electronic health record
systems for charting. The patient population consists of adults
requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high acuity needs.
