Republic Services, Inc., a leader in the solid waste and recycling industry, is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver / Courier to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of non-hazardous waste and recyclable materials. The successful candidate will operate Republic’s well-recognized blue trucks and adhere to all environmental and safety regulations. This position requires someone who is punctual, reliable, and committed to providing high standards of customer service. Operate vehicles to transport non-hazardous solid waste and recyclables to and from specified locations. Perform pre- and post-trip inspection of vehicles to ensure they are clean and functioning properly. Adhere to assigned routes and schedules unless otherwise directed by dispatch. Maintain accurate records of materials transported and mileage logs in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations. Ensure the safety of all operations following company policies and legal compliance guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by interacting courteously with dispatchers, supervisors, and the public. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems. Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. Strong adherence to safety guidelines and ability to manage emergency situations. Experience in waste management and recycling industry is a plus.
