this full-time role, you will be a key member of the St. Vincent de
Paul’s Processing Center team, which is tasked with ensuring timely
and efficient support for SVdP retail stores and community
programs. Fundamental duties include supervising and developing
staff, maintaining accurate inventory records, managing the truck
fleet and delivery operations, ensuring compliance with DOT and
safety standards, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality
handling of all merchandise and donated items. This is an essential
position that allows us to contribute to the many services SVdP
provides! What You’ll Do Operations & Inventory Management Oversee
merchandise flow through the Processing Center, including sorting,
shipping and transfers to retail stores. Maintain accurate weekly
inventory of all warehouses, supplies and truck fleet records
Ensure product quality, timely fulfillment of store requests and
apply problem-solving when stock quality/quantity fluctuates
Support interdepartmental logistics and delivery of products and
supplies to all SVdP facilities Assist in loading/unloading
incoming and outgoing product as needed Maintain organization,
cleanliness and safety of all warehouses, loading areas and
vehicles Trucking & Fleet Management Supervise and coordinate all
trucking operations, including home pickups, deliveries, drop box
pickups and store runs Operate larger commercial vehicles safely
and efficiently in accordance with Class A CDL requirements,
including defensive driving, vehicle inspections and adherence to
DOT regulations Ensure compliance with DOT inspections, driver
logs, hours-of-service rules, insurance requirements and driver
record monitoring Oversee fueling, maintenance and inspection of
all fleet vehicles Determine the resale-ability of donated items
and decline items graciously or determine if recycle or waste when
necessary Ensure donors and customers are treated courteously and
donated items are handled with care Supervision & Staff Development
Train, supervise, and coach Shipping & Receiving and Trucking
staff, forklift drivers, balers, unloaders and drivers Assign daily
work tasks, monitor staff performance and enforce company policies
and procedures Maintain accurate employee timekeeping, approve
payroll data and manage attendance and leave records (PTO, Sick,
FMLA, etc.) Promote teamwork, morale and professionalism through
regular feedback and coaching Conduct performance reviews, lead
staff meetings and recommend hiring or disciplinary actions as
needed Safety & Facility Management Enforce and model all safety
standards, ensuring a culture of prevention and accountability
Perform and document daily and weekly maintenance and safety checks
for warehouses, trucks, and equipment Report facility maintenance
issues and coordinate with appropriate personnel for repairs Ensure
compliance with state/local building, fire, and safety codes
Administrative & Organizational Support Monitor departmental
expenses and productivity to align with budget and organizational
performance goals Attend management meetings and communicate
departmental updates to leadership Keep directors and managers
informed of safety concerns, problems, supplies needed, and
whatever is essential to the smooth running and safety of the
organization's operations Support SVdP’s equity, inclusion,

Represent SVdP with professionalism, integrity and adherence to
Vincentian values in all community interactions Adhere to the
Safeguarding Policy by ensuring timely completion of mandatory
training, staying updated on relevant training modules, and
undergoing the necessary background checks to maintain compliance
Daily assignments will rotate based on staffing and operational

Requirements: What You Can Bring Required Education: High school
diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory or management
in a warehouse environment with fleet experience. Demonstrated
experience overseeing shipping/receiving, trucking or warehouse
teams. Proven ability to implement safety and compliance programs
(OSHA, DOT, or equivalent) Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s
License (CDL) with good driving record; must be insurable under
SVdP insurance provider. OR must obtain CDL within three months of
hire. The organization may cover costs for CDL training and testing
with prior approval. Support may require a payment agreement if the
employee resigns voluntarily or is terminated for cause within a
set period. CDL assistance is discretionary and does not guarantee
continued employment. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, fleet
safety, interstate driving rules, and preventive maintenance.
Forklift certification through company-provided training program
Availability for varied shifts (including early morning, late
evening, weekends). Capable of making accurate judgments of
acceptable items for resale-based donation acceptance list, quality
control information received during training or current needs of
the stores Demonstrate the ability to communicate and effectively
interact with people across cultures, ranges of ability,
ethnicities, and races. OR is willing to communicate and interact
effectively with individuals from diverse cultures, varying
abilities, ethnicities, and races. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
and Google Workspace. Preferred 5 years of progressively
responsible experience in warehouse, processing, or transportation
operations Experience in managing Class A CDL drivers and
maintaining DOT compliance documentation Prior nonprofit or
mission-driven organization experience Proficiency with data
analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, or logistics software)
Experience in continuous improvement or lean process methods (5S,
