Company Summary: Waxxy Poodle is an audiophile quality, vinyl record manufacturer located in southern Wisconsin. Founded by 30 year veterans of vinyl record manufacturing, lacquer mastering and world class quality control. Time Line:We intend to fill this position by September 1st.Pay: $22 to Start Description:The Machine Technician is responsible for machine set up, calibration, and uniform and consistent machine operation. The Machine Technician Trainee or Machine Tech 1 performs similar duties within a developmental role.Personality and Interest Profile - You may enjoy this role if you: Enjoy using mechanical troubleshooting skills Understand the needs of the audiophile customers and how a quality part is defined by them Accountable for: Ensuring that the output of our process is a quality part and within acceptable standards Adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure parts are within acceptable standardsReceive ongoing training in machine set up and operationPerform duties of packaging and shipping when requiredFollow good manufacturing practices to ensure work place safetyComplete production notes as neededDesired Qualifications: High school education or equivalentPrevious manufacturing experienceAttention to detailDesire for continual learning and personal developmentMechanical aptitudePhysical Demands:Frequent lifting up to roughly 55 lb bins, boxes, containers and dock loadingFrequent repetitious tasks magnifying glassesProlonged periods of standing or working on concrete floorAbility to correctly wear/use personal protective equipment including long sleeves as requiredWork involves exposure to high temperaturesWaxxy Poodle is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
